Having pioneered dance music since the late 80s, Sasha has no doubt lived an epic journey of sounds – ultimately rising to become one of the biggest DJ’s in the world today. From legendary solo albums and mixes with longtime DJ partner John Digweed (reminisce to1994′s ‘Renaissance: The Mix Collection’ and 1996’s ‘Northern Exposure’ for Ministry of Sound) and a love for breaking (and sometimes smashing) boundaries, to his sheer talent for capturing crowds, Sasha has achieved more than just great music; he’s succeeded in building a legacy unlike any other.
These days, you’ll find him serving up his dynamic beats at a range of events – from world-famous dance festivals like Creamfields and South West Four, to clubs rooted to the industry’s underground sounds – like London’s Fabric, NYC’s Cielo, or Tokyo’s Womb. Yet no matter where he’s performing – or which of his various sounds he’s offering up – there’s always that one unchanging element you’ll find in all of Sasha’s sets: an entrancing sense of magic from every beat.
