Avalon Hollywood: Attn! We are LIVE right now interviewing @SYDNEYBLUwho performs Saturday! How are you doing? Heard you broke your wrist?!
Sydney Blu: I’m totally fine! Yes, broke my wrist but still ready to smash Avalon on Saturday… Right handed!
Avalon Hollywood: awesome! The test of a true DJ: perform with one hand. Alright lets get started! If you could open or perform with any artist (dead or alive) who would it be? Why?
Sydney Blu: MADONNA! She’s been my favorite musician since I was a kid and is an inspiration to any female artist out there.
Avalon Hollywood: she is quite the superstar! What has been your biggest track of the year?
Sydney Blu: My next release on @BlackHoleRec”CHEMISTRY” feat. @lealuna, a collab with @ChristianFalero. This track has been huge 4 me!
Avalon Hollywood: can’t wait to hear it Saturday! What’s your guiltiest after-gig meal?
Sydney Blu: Cheese hot dogs from 7-11. YUM
Avalon Hollywood: definitely a guilty pleasure with that one! If you weren’t a DJ, what other career would you be doing?
Sydney Blu: I would be working in the travel industry because I went to school for it… AND I love to travel!
Avalon Hollywood: Excellent career choice! Everyone will only need more vacations!! How did you get into electronic music?
Sydney Blu: In college I went to a club called Atomic in Ottowa and fell in love with the music and was hooked!
Avalon Hollywood: excellent! What’s your best drunken story?
Sydney Blu: WELL, I wish I could say I was drunk last night when I broke my wrist, BUT unfortunately I was completely sober… Doh!
Avalon Hollywood: we’re sure there was a good reason! Why did you move from Canada to Miami?
Sydney Blu: I got a residency from the good peeps@opiumgroup and @mansion_miami! And the weather, doesn’t suck either
