Morgan Page graced us with his amazing presence last week, see the result right here:
Versatile, driven and open-minded, Branchez is a modern producer. The New York City native has been making waves in both the electronic music & hip-hop communities with his soulful brand of “big room hip-hop.”
After breaking onto the scene with his self-released track “Treat You Right,” he solidified his place among this year’s top new acts with his massive single “Shake” (featured in the Skrillex BBC Essential mix), a track that blends elements more common to house with his own unique style of sampling and bass-heavy percussion.
Branchez has done guest mixes on BBC Radio1 (Diplo & Friends, Toddla T Show), TripleJ Radio and SiriusXM – Shade45 (Sway In The Morning). Recently, Branchez received international acclaim for his bootleg of Rihanna’s track “Stay ft. Mykki Ekko,” which was supported on Diplo’s Endless Summer Playlist in NY Magazine, as well as by Carson Daly on 97.1FM in Los Angeles. A sign of Branchez’ pop sensibility, the track has “gone viral,” amassing millions of plays across multiple mediums. The track took over the coveted #1 Hype Machine spot for numerous weeks on end. Recently OWSLA released a Branchez remix of the What So Not single High You Are. The remix quickly shot up the Hype Machine charts and quickly grabbed the #1 spot.
In the last year Branchez has also produced official remixes for Rockie Fresh, Stalley ft. Rick Ross, Tokimonsta and Mat Zo as well as producing a track for the Casey Veggies & Rockie Fresh ‘Fresh Veggies’ tape. Armed with an arsenal of original material as well, Branchez has just returned from the Altered States Tour where he joined Zeds Dead, Paper Diamond and DJ GreenLantern for 35+ dates across North America.
